02 / Our role

An introduction.
A working relationship.

The Veritas Capital Group provides brokerage and deal consulting for ordinary commercial financing, including real estate deal packaging, funding coordination, and lender introductions. We facilitate connections among business owners, borrowers, deal principals, and financing sources.

Our compensation is paid by the primary lender or deal principal for agreed brokerage and deal consulting services, and is payable only when the deal closes, under the applicable engagement agreement. We are not paid for finding investors. We never receive, hold, or disburse transaction funds. Financing and partnership terms are negotiated between the participating parties, subject to their independent review and definitive agreements.

Understand the need

Start with the business purpose and the parties’ requirements.

Clarify the relationship

Identify the counterparties and their respective roles.

Coordinate the conversation

Help organize introductions and the agreed next steps.

Build continuity

Develop relationships that can support future business needs.

03 / Our process

Consistent steps.
Individual transactions.

A repeatable introduction and coordination process. The parties evaluate each potential relationship on its own merits.

  1. Understand

Discuss the business need, proposed transaction, relevant counterparties, and objectives.

  2. Introduce

Explore relevant connections and arrange a conversation where the parties identify a potential fit.

  3. Coordinate

Help organize next steps. Each party conducts its own review and obtains appropriate professional advice before proceeding.

  4. Stay connected

Maintain the relationship and discuss future business needs as they arise. Each new transaction requires its own evaluation.

Our objective: lasting working relationships supported by a repeatable process for introductions and transaction coordination.

04 / Illustrative business needs

Different situations.
A tailored conversation.

These scenarios illustrate the types of business needs that may lead to an introduction. They are not advertisements for specific transactions or commitments to provide financing.

Scenario A

Transaction preparation

A business principal wants to discuss a commercial financing need associated with appraisal, underwriting, or due diligence expenses.

Scenario B

Closing coordination

A borrower seeks a connection to a potential financing source while addressing the remaining requirements for a larger transaction.

Scenario C

Recurring relationships

Business counterparties want to establish a working relationship that may support more than one independently evaluated transaction over time.

05 / Common questions

Clarity comes first.

A clear understanding of the service, the parties, and the next steps.

What does Veritas do?

We provide brokerage, introductions, and deal consulting for ordinary commercial financing and business relationships. The scope of our work is defined in the applicable engagement agreement.

Can you help with my own real estate deal?

Yes. We can help package the financing request, facilitate conversations with potential funding sources, and coordinate the process. Any financing remains subject to lender review, underwriting, and approval.

Who pays Veritas?

Our compensation is paid by the primary lender or deal principal for agreed brokerage and deal consulting services, and is payable only when the deal closes. We are not paid for finding investors.

Does Veritas hold or handle transaction funds?

No. We never receive, hold, or disburse transaction funds. The participating parties arrange the funding and payment mechanics in their own transaction documents.

Who determines the transaction terms?

The participating parties negotiate the terms for the particular transaction. Agreements identify the parties, responsibilities, economics, conditions, and other relevant provisions.

Are introductions or financing guaranteed?

No. A potential connection may not result in an agreement or a funded transaction. Availability, suitability, timing, and execution depend on the parties and the circumstances.

Can the relationship continue beyond one transaction?

Yes. Our goal is to build recurring working relationships. Each future transaction is considered separately and is subject to its own review and agreements.
